Not one to work quickly, Peter Gabriel is working on a new album. It was six years to move from the So in 1986 to Us in 1992 and another decade before he released Up in 2002. Since then, he’s released the cover album Scratch My Back in 2010 and orchestral re-imagining of earlier songs in 2011’s New Blood, which means it’s been 13 long years for any original music, not that I’m counting. He’s not a workaholic, so anytime he goes into the studio is a happy occasion.
