King Crimson have officially announced a previously mentioned summer U.S. tour, as well as plans for a new 12-inch single. Set for April release, King Crimson’s as-yet-untitled single marks their first new music since 2003’s The Power to Believe. Band founder Robert Fripp is joined by returning long-time Crimson members Tony Levin, Jakko Jakszyk and Mel Collins. They’re also bringing four drummers: Bill Rieflin, Gavin Harrison, Pat Mastelotto and Jeremy Stacey. Which is one more than…well…anyone else, really.
