Dave Brubeck, considered to be one of the foremost exponents of cool jazz, and wrote a number of jazz standards, including “In Your Own Sweet Way” and “The Duke”, and created one of the biggest-selling jazz albums in history with Time Out. He was also a respected composer of orchestral and sacred music and wrote soundtracks for television, such as Mr. Broadway.
