Alexisonfire returned with new music so their first step was to play House Of Strombo. It’s been nearly a decade since we heard new music with only a fistful of surprises appearances through the time since their hiatus. With their new stoner jam Familiar Drugs unleashed, it only seemed appropriate for the post-hardcore boys of St. Catharines to bring their sound to the House Of Strombo. Since the early days of MuchMusic, documenting the Pulmonary Archery video, there has been an undying appreciation between our landlord Strombo and the only band ever. Alexisonfire sits down to open up about what brought them together again, what they have planned, George’s firefighter career and beyond before delivering a full-volume, career-spanning set for a sweaty crowd of die-hard fans.
