Breakout alt-rock trio Wallows announce new 2020 North American headline tour dates and release their cutting-edge animated music video for “Treacherous Doctor,” taken from the band’s critically-acclaimed debut album ‘Nothing Happens.’ The highly imaginative video, created via stop motion animation using felt cutouts, was produced by the inventive studio dreambear and directed and animated by Lawrence Becker.
Wallows will kick off their 2020 North American headline dates on February 13th in Alabama, with stops throughout the South (including three shows in Florida) and along the East Coast and into Canada where they will play Montreal for the first time, before ending on March 2nd in Rhode Island. They’ll be joined by special guest Penelope Isles for the newly announced dates. The band is also set to perform at Tropicalia festival in Pico Rivera, CA on November 10th, as well as two dates in London supporting Vampire Weekend at Alexandra Palace on November 13th & 14th, their own headline show in Cologne, Germany on November 15th, and wrapping up with another Vampire Weekend support date at Zenith in Paris, France on November 16th. Earlier this month, Wallows released “Trust Fall” and “Just Like A Movie,” which were previously available exclusively as an official Record Store Day 2019 physical 7”. “Trust Fall” is joined by a lyric video, created by Landon Fleischman, Nikoli Partiyeli and Wallows.
