Interpol and Spoon join forces for the “Lights, Camera, Factions” tour, a coast-to-coast run of North American dates that will also feature openers The Goon Sax, a Matador Records triple bill.
The trip kicks off on August 25th in Asbury Park at The Stone Pony Summer Stage and concludes with a two-night stand on September 17th and 18th at Portland, OR. Pioneer Square.
Interpol has just finished recording their 7th studio album with producers Flood & Moulder at Battery Studio in London. This spring, the band will embark on its first US tour in three years, with further dates across the US, UK, and EU including co-headlining Primavera Sound Barcelona and Porto.
Spoon has just released Lucifer on the Sofa, which Rolling Stone called “their best record ever.” Earning rave reviews and global acclaim, including a 4-star review in Mojo – who praised the sound of the album as “Elvis Costello on the streets, ZZ Top between the sheets,” Lucifer on the Sofa marks an important sea-change for the group.
