Billy Talent return with Live at Festhalle Frankfurt, their first live album since 2007’s 666. The new album, produced by Juno Award nominee for Producer of the Year Ian D’sa and mixed by Juno Award winner Eric Ratz, sees the band perform 21 career spanning hits and was recorded this past November at the iconic German venue in front of a sold-out crowd. The 21-track set is slated for release digitally and on double disc CD on June 16, 2023 – with a vinyl pre order available now. The vinyl release is expected to ship to fans in late September. Following the release of Live at Festhalle Frankfurt, Billy Talent will drop several live videos from the show, culminating in a full-length concert film, directed by Dennis Dirksen that will premiere later this fall.
The band is currently back on tour in Europe, bringing their high-energy live show to the fans through the end of June, with major festival appearances including Rock For People (Czechia), Hurricane Festival (Germany), Southside Festival (Germany), Graspop (Belgium), Jera On Air Festival (Netherlands), Summerside Festival (Switzerland), and several more.
Following its European trek, Billy Talent returns to North America to light up the stage at festivals including a co-headline show with Weezer at Festival D’été (Quebec) followed by Ottawa Bluesfest, Rock The Park (London) and others. Billy Talent also has a number of headline dates, including Toronto’s Budweiser Stage with Cypress Hill on July 8th. Later this year, the band will return to the United States for the first time in seven years which will include stops at Aftershock Festival (Sacramento, CA) and Louder Than Life (Lousiville, KY) in addition to several headline shows.
