SiriusXM will offer listeners nationwide coverage of the events of Major League Baseball’s 2024 All-Star Week, with live broadcasts of the 94th All-Star Game Presented by Mastercard, the T-Mobile Home Run Derby, the MLB Draft, and more special programming from Arlington, TX.
On Sunday, July 14, SiriusXM’s MLB Network Radio channel will offer live coverage of the first round of the MLB Draft from the historic Cowtown Coliseum in Fort Worth starting at 6pm ET/5 pm CT. As baseball’s future stars take the first step in their professional careers, SiriusXM listeners will hear the live selections of every team in the first round. SiriusXM’s Dani Wexelman and Grant Paulsen will host alongside former MLB general managers Jim Bowden and Jim Duquette, who will react to picks and share their analysis.
On Monday, July 15, SiriusXM’s on-site programming from Globe Life Field will begin at 1 pm ET/noon CT with a Media Day show hosted by Dani Wexelman, Jim Duquette and Mike Ferrin. At 5 pm ET/4pm CT Grant Paulsen, Jim Bowden and Kevin Frandsen will be on the field to host SiriusXM’s pre-game programming and interview many of the All-Stars in attendance. The MLB Network Radio channel will air ESPN Radio’s broadcast of the Home Run Derby starting at 8 pm ET/7 pm CT.
Just prior to SiriusXM’s on-site programming, listeners can also tune in to a special episode of the MLB Network Radio show, “Power Alley,” which will be co-hosted by Justin Morneau, winner of the 2008 Home Run Derby.
On Tuesday, July 16, MLB Network Radio’s coverage from Texas begins at 5 pm ET/4 pm CT with an MLB All-Star Pregame Show hosted by Wexelman, Duquette and Frandsen. Listeners will hear interviews with many of the coaches and players on the field at Globe Life Field. The pre-game show will lead into ESPN Radio’s play-by-play broadcast of the All-Star Game starting at 8 pm ET/7 pm CT.

“Black Diamonds,” presented by SiriusXM and the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum, will record multiple episodes from Play Ball Park during All-Star Week. Museum president Bob Kendrick will conduct long form conversations with some of the great players from the game. These episodes will debut later in the MLB Season.
