Chxrry22 Releases New Single ‘Just Like Me’ and Joins FLO on Tour

Rising R&B star Chxrry22 returns with an upbeat and undeniable new single entitled “Just Like Me” out now via XO Records/Republic Records. It notably marks her first release of 2025 and sets the stage for a whole lot more to come.

The track’s keyboard-laden throwback beat layers glitchy claps above a thumping bassline. Chxrry22 leans into the groove with charisma and confidence as she cheekily admits, “I like to keep a clean white tee, but I like to do my dirt lowkey.” Meanwhile, the bouncy hook booms with no shortage of energy as she smiles, “I guess I like ‘em just like me!”

Stay tuned for the premiere of a slick music video to accompany the track very soon.

Once again, the song sees Chxrry22 firing on all cylinders as a showstopping and stunning force of nature with her own irresistible and inimitable take on R&B.

It also arrives on the heels of 2024’s “Poppin Out (Mistakes).” It incited widespread critical acclaim when PAPER raved, “With the punchy new single, ‘Poppin Out (Mistakes),’ Chxrry22 proves that she’s ready to bring unapologetic and free vibes to the world in abundance.” Billboard named it among, “R&B/Hip-Hop Fresh Picks of the Week,” going on to proclaim, “The perfect pre-game playlist for girls night, Chxrry22 crafted an awfully fun bop to reverse a heartbreak.” Rated R&B hailed it as “fiery,” and Happy Mag attested, “Chxrry22 is proving she’s more than just a rising star – she’s here to stay.”

Recently, Chxrry22 made an appearance on the biggest album of the year—The Weeknd’s Hurry Up Tomorrow. She leaves the voicemail on “Reflections Laughing” (feat. Travis Scott, Florence + The Machine). Not to mention, she turns up on screen in the music video for “Cry For Me.”

Next up, Chxrry22 joins FLO on tour across the East Coast.

Prior, she shined on the Siren EP. Boasting features from Offset and more, it gathered millions of streams in addition to earning critical acclaim. Beyond plugs from Billboard and more, UPROXX raved, “Chxrry22’s red-hot passion is nothing short of captivating on ‘Siren’,” and Rated R&B professed, “The burgeoning R&B star radiates with confidence on her second EP.” Last year, she also supported Mariah The Scientist on the “To Be Eaten Alive” Tour across the United States. She also performed at Billboard’s THE STAGE at SXSW. Plus she joined The Weeknd for his stadium dates in Australia.
