In 1969, Ella Fitzgerald released Sunshine of Your Love, recorded live at the Venetian Room, The Fairmont San Francisco, produced by Norman Granz. The album redefined jazz interpretation, featuring bold takes on The Beatles, Cream, The Rascals, Harry Nilsson, The Beatles, and The Doors, all wrapped in Fitzgerald’s unmistakable phrasing and vocal agility. Originally issued by MPS Records, it later found a second life on Verve Records in 1996.
