Now, they are bringing a bold new version of Riot Days to Canada, with performances running from April 3 to April 15, 2025. Based on Maria Alyokhina’s upcoming book, this tour dives deep into her post-prison journey, including Pussy Riot’s continued protests, Putin’s crackdown on dissent, and the imprisonment and murder of Russian opposition leader Alexey Navalny.
Each performance blends punk, performance art, and documentary storytelling, creating an urgent, high-energy experience that evolves with real-time world events. The show isn’t just a performance—it’s a rallying cry for human rights, LGBTQ+ visibility, and resistance against authoritarian rule. Proceeds from the tour will directly support Ukraine and Russian political prisoners, reinforcing Pussy Riot’s commitment to activism through art.
