Continuing a year-long 60th-anniversary celebration, The Doors have unveiled a new collaboration with Apple Maps, chronicling the historic places that shaped The Doors’ music and art – from their Californian roots to their European memories. Twenty locations are included in the guide, such as the iconic Whisky a Go Go, where the band cemented its legacy and where Robby Krieger will begin a monthly legacy later this month. Additional locations include favorite restaurants and popular LA haunts like Tail O’ The Pup and Barney’s Beanery, significant recording studios, performing arts centers, venues and much more.
