The Killers grabbed rock by the shirt collar when they blasted outta Vegas in 2004 with the instantly impressive ‘Hot Fuss.’ Brandon Flowers’ passionate vocals roared in front of the band’s explosive moves, and “Mr. Brightside” came on like storm. Our ‘Watch This’ series has artists glance back at their most significant music videos, adding insightful commentary and key insights about the shoots themselves or the career impact of the videos at that time in their career. We invited The Killers in to chat it up a bit about some of their important vids, and Flowers and Ronnie Vannucci took some time to recall a few of their best-known titles. First up, the one the kicked everything off: “Mr. Brightside,” directed by Sophie Muller. “I never felt natural to make a music video,” muses the singer. “It still doesn’t.” That doesn’t mean they’ve stopped however.
