In 1987, Kate Bush released a charity single called “Don’t Give Up” in support of the UK charity Crisis. The song was originally recorded by Peter Gabriel and Kate, but for the single release, David Gilmour replaced Peter’s vocals. David provided backing vocals and played guitar on the track, which featured Kate as the lead vocalist.
That same year, during The Secret Policeman’s Third Ball Live in 1987, Kate performed her hit song song “Running Up That Hill (A Deal With God)” with the David on guitar and backing vocals.
