Gera MX is a chart-topping Mexican rapper and songwriter known for his captivating storytelling and introspective lyrics. His unique blend of rap and other, far-ranging influences—coupled with his distinctive vocal delivery—has resonated with a wide audience, solidifying his status as a prominent figure in the international hip-hop scene. Gera MX has achieved remarkable success with several high-charting singles, including “Botella Tras Botella” and “Se Me Olvidó”. His music has also garnered impressive streaming numbers.
Known as a fearless artist, Nanpa Básico is the standard-bearer of modern Colombian rap by bringing raw and uncensored energy to the modern music scene. His street-conscious lyrics are delivered with nods to hip-hop, reggae, and regional Mexican, bringing vulnerability to social criticisms and romance to hardcore rap. Last year, Nanpa Básico released HECHO M13RD4, an homage to feeling broken inside, a melancholic and reflective state of mind about heartbreak while also celebrating the high of falling in love. HECHO M13RD4 is considered one of the exciting albums of 2022.
