Today, Toronto rap maverick Da Crook adds another dimension to his artistry, with the release of Who Decides War available now on all streaming platforms. The opening track “Fight or Flight” reflects on Da Crook’s personal hardships of losing friends to the system, while “16 Grammys & Oscars” depicts not only his growth as an artist, but resounding determination to come out on top. The project sees a dynamic collaboration with Detroit sensation Skilla Baby on “Down”, and channels Crook’s romantic side with “All I Want Is You” a heartfelt melodic rhythm featuring notable Toronto rapper NorthSideBenji, that sheds a light on the unadulterated wants, desires, and temptations of love. Both features add another layer of intrigue to the Toronto native and emphasize the unique cultural influences from both cities that shape the rappers’ identities.
