Headbanger’s Ball was a legendary MTV program that rocked the airwaves starting in 1987, dedicated entirely to the electrifying world of heavy metal. Hosted first by Kevin Seal, then Adam Curry, and finally the unforgettable Ricki Rachtman, the show was a metalhead’s paradise. It featured an incredible lineup of music videos, electrifying in-studio performances, and unforgettable guest appearances from the biggest names in hard rock and heavy metal. Fans were treated to the sounds of Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, Van Halen, AC/DC, Mötley Crüe, Ozzy Osbourne, Def Leppard, Anthrax, Motörhead, and Twisted Sister. One superfan has now compiled the ultimate collection of all 1,215 videos played from the show’s debut in 1987 until its final episode.
