MONTRÉAL, September 19, 2024 – From November 20 to 23, M pour Montréal (M for Montréal) returns for its 19th edition, promising an extraordinary experience filled with world-class events, conferences, and live performances. This four-day conference-festival is designed to catapult Canadian and Québécois talent onto the global stage.
Bringing together local and international music industry professionals, M for Montréal boasts an extensive and diverse program featuring over 100 performances. Artists participating in this year’s Official Selection Showcase, handpicked for their creativity and international appeal, include 28 English and French Canadian musicians spanning indie-pop, alternative rock, rap, and folk genres.
With more than 40 concerts and showcases, M for Montréal serves as a launchpad for Canadian artists to connect with over 500 national and international delegates, alongside an enthusiastic crowd of more than 9,000 fans. The event has been instrumental in elevating the careers of internationally acclaimed artists such as Charlotte Cardin, Grimes, Half Moon Run, Mac DeMarco, and Men I Trust.
