Montreal’s Claudia Bouvette Announced As Spotify’s RADAR Canada Artist For October

Claudia Bouvette’s message is one of female empowerment and the freedom and courage to be oneself, and this month she’s Spotify’s RADAR artist for October.

To celebrate this up-and-coming artist, Claudia took over a billboard at Toronto’s iconic Yonge-Dundas Square on Friday, October 11.

Claudia joins a number of emerging artists Spotify Canada has supported early in their artist journey, and at a time when she is poised to show the world how far she has come and where she’s headed next.

Regardless of the artistic medium, Claudia Bouvette’s message is one of female empowerment and the freedom to be oneself. Her music encourages openness and the courage to assert and reveal one’s true self. Born in Bromont (QC), Claudia Bouvette now lives and works in Montreal. A singer-songwriter, she’s always been passionate about music. After a stint in television, she returned to her first love in 2019 and released an initial EP featuring eight songs written and produced with Connor Seidel. She spent the following two years polishing her songwriting and musical production techniques. Her debut full-length album, The Paradise Club, was released in 2022 on Bonsound. Since the release of The Paradise Club, Claudia has performed at various venues across Quebec and Ontario, and at festivals such as Osheaga, Festival d’été de Québec and M pour Montréal. She even fulfilled her childhood dream of joining Simple Plan on stage at FestiVoix in Trois-Rivières. The singer also went on to open for Ne-Yo at the Festival des Montgolfières and Sean Paul at Soif de Musique. In 2022, Claudia graced the cover of Elle Québec magazine, and made appearances on the small screen on numerous occasions, as a performer, co-host and actress.
