The annual music and camping Roots & Reggae Festival will take place from May 30 to June 1, 2025, at Tico Time River Resort, located at 20 Road 2050, south of Durango, Colorado. Tico Time River Resort is the only Costa Rican-inspired resort in the United States.
This incredible three-day event features music on three stages and offers attendees a variety of recreational activities. With your ticket, you’ll enjoy walk-in camping, beach access perfect for swimming, stand-up paddleboards, a water slide, an inner tube slide, and beach volleyball. For those who love the outdoors, there are hiking trails to explore and access to over 82 acres of the stunning Tico Time River Resort.
The 2025 lineup includes a mystery headliner (to be announced in January), along with Protoje meets Tippy I, Rising Appalachia, Dirtwire, Dub FX, The Original Wailers feat. Al Anderson, Aurorawave, Arise Roots, Nattali Rize, Lily Fangz, Will Evans, Bloomurian, Stylie, Native Leaves, Biko Casini, Prezence, Ghost.Wav, Vibestrong, DJ Dynamite Sol, OGtheDJ, SANJI, Andy Babb & Lara Elle, The BoomRoots, CodeStar, AfroBeatNiks, DJ Jimmy Djembe, DJ La Ruda, I-Gene, and many more.
Rise & Vibes will also offer a variety of workshops designed to help attendees ground themselves, learn, connect, deepen their practice, and move. Topics include sacred communication as well as “Move and Stretch” with Funky Flow, Buthi, and Jam Rising Yoga.
On-site accommodations include full-hookup RV sites, car camping, and shaded riverside tent camping. Attendees have access to permanent bathroom and shower facilities, food and craft vendors, drinking water, a general store, and more.
Off-site accommodations in nearby Durango, Colorado, and Aztec, New Mexico, provide a full range of options—from budget to five-star lodging—along with restaurants and other activities.
New this year at the event are Zipline Tours, rental cabins with air conditioning, and premium car camping sites equipped with water and 120V power.
Hosted by the nonprofit Pura Vida for Good Inc., profits from the event will support the construction of recovery and sober living facilities in Durango, Colorado, and San Juan County, New Mexico. Pura Vida for Good Inc.’s mission is to serve those suffering from substance abuse by providing a holistic approach to recovery.
