Behind the scenes video: Paul McCartney inducts Ringo Starr to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame

The Runaways’ Jackie Fuchs Tells Her Side of Kim Fowley Rape Story

Jackie Fuchs (Fox) of the Runaways talks about Kim Fowley and the rape she remembers differently from bandmates Joan Jett and Cherie Currie. The impact of her sexual assault at the hands of her manager in a room full of friends and associates, and the misconceptions about the 1970s scene of sex, drugs, and rock and roll are all explained in this uncensored discussion. The strange and scary quaalude connection that Fowley had with Bill Cosby, and the ‘bystander effect’ that sexual assault has on witnesses is explored with attorney Mike Cavalluzzi, in this Crime Time hosted by Allison Hope Weiner.

Dustin Hoffman In 1971 On Duplicity And Famosity And Saving A Painting

“I did as much as I could do at that time in my life … I tried as hard as I could and I couldn’t do better”
– Dustin Hoffman in 1971

PBS’s Blank On Blank came across this rarely heard interview with Dustin Hoffman recorded in 1971. It’s such a thoughtful, unrushed conversation from a Hollywood icon when he was just a few years into becoming a star. He was still catching his breath and asking the questions that so many of us wonder when professional careers and a family life are beginning to take shape.

Even though Hoffman was only 33 at the time of the interview, he said Hollywood already viewed as an old timer, part of the establishment. This despite the fact The Graduate, Hoffman’s breakout film, had been released a few years earlier. That was followed up by his role as Ratso Rizzo in Midnight Cowboy — the X rated film that won an oscar for best picture.

Listening to this interview tape, we were drawn to this idea of the struggles that pop up between different generations and the questions one confronts internally as he or she gets older.

Enjoy. Here’s Dustin Hoffman like you’ve rarely heard him before.

Fingers Bloody Fingers, A Cartoon Based On Black Sabbath’s Tony Iommi Losing 2 Of His Fingers

Tony Iommi, Black Sabbath’s lead guitarist and founding member, talks about losing two of his fingers and creating a new sound out of the disability. Iommi is widely considered one of the most influential rock guitarists of all time. A prolific riff-maker, he was ranked number 25 in Rolling Stone magazine’s list of the “100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time”.

In 2011, he published his autobiography, entitled Iron Man: My Journey through Heaven and Hell with Black Sabbath.

Kid Sings “Time To Say Goodbye” by Andrea Bocelli & Sarah Brightman And It’s STILL VERY Dustry In Here

The Voice Kids (Germany) is Germanys most successful singing contest among 8 to 14 year olds. Only in The Voice Kids it’s all about the voice of the talents and the coaches Lena Meyer-Landrut, Johannes Strate and Mark Forster will only turn around if they like what they hear and want the talent to be in their team.

Not only have they extremely good voices but also something very special about them: An unusual tone, the tiny little detail that sets them apart from the other great singers in this contest. Are you all about these voices and which one of them would you love to hear more of?

Solomia sings “Time To Say Goodbye” by Andrea Bocelli & Sarah Brightman. 5 seconds. That’s all it takes.
