Warner Records announced the release of a special collection of 21 beautifully remastered Cher songs, personally curated by the legend herself, spanning the course of her astonishing seven decades and “still going strong” career in music.

The special double vinyl package will be printed on silver foil board with crystal clear translucent vinyl. A one CD configuration will also be available.

Following the monumental success of Cher’s recent Christmas album and her induction this year into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, the timing of Warner’s first Cher compilation in 20 years represents a celebration of the legend’s exceptional career.

Forever includes such hits as “Believe” and “If I Could Turn Back Time” as well as fan faves “Song For The Lonely” and “The Way Of Love” – to her #1 Holiday single from 2023, “DJ Play A Christmas Song.” Every generation of Cher fans and newcomers will have the opportunity to enjoy these classics that have been lovingly restored from the master tapes.

The Forever Fan Edition digital release available on all streaming outlets on the same date, adds 19 additional tunes ranging from early Cher hits like “The Beat Goes On” and “I Got You Babe” to additional hits from her 80’s era to a live recording of “I Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For” which opened her Farewell Tour.

Cher fans will have the chance to enjoy the full-length version of the classic “Take Me Home”, as well as her other favorites like “Welcome To Burlesque,” dance floor hits like “Dov’e L’Amore” and “Woman’s World,” and the haunting Diane Warren song “You Haven’t Seen The Last of Me.”

There are also holy grail fan-requested songs like “A Woman’s Story” – remastered and available on digital for the first time today – after only being previously released on a 45” single in 1974. Other rarities include “Still” from her highly collectable self-released album Not.com.mercial, which was released only on cher.com in 2000.

A full list of songs on the vinyl package and the digital release of Forever is listed below.

Cher will formally be inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame on October 19 and recently announced the release of her highly anticipated autobiography, CHER: The Memoir, Part One, on sale November 19.

‘Chicago At The John. F. Kennedy Center For The Performing Arts, Washington D.C. (9/16/1971)’ 4LP And 3CD Versions Out September 27

Chicago was one of the first groups to perform at the Kennedy Center after it opened in September 1971. That historic concert has been newly re-mixed from the original multi-track tapes by Chicago founding member and trumpeter Lee Loughnane and engineer Tim Jessup and will debut in an upcoming collection from Rhino.

Chicago At The John. F. Kennedy Center For The Performing Arts, Washington D.C. (9/16/1971) will be available on September 27 in 4LP, 3CD, and digital configurations. Pre-Order HERE.

This 26-track live collection was recorded on September 16, 1971, about a week after the John. F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts opened in the nation’s capital. For more than 50 years, the concert has remained unreleased except for the performance of “Goodbye,” which debuted in 2018 on Chicago: VI Decades Live.

The Kennedy Center performance includes more than two hours of live music by Robert Lamm (keyboard, vocals), Terry Kath (guitar, vocals), Peter Cetera (vocals, bass), Danny Seraphine (drums), Lee Loughnane (trumpet, vocals), James Pankow (trombone), and Walt Parazaider (woodwinds, vocals).

The show explores all three studio albums that Chicago released since their 1969 debut. The songs span a range of styles, underscoring the band’s ability to blend genres seamlessly. There are rockers (“25 Or 6 To 4” and “I’m A Man”), ballads (“Colour My World” and “Beginnings”), jazz-influenced tracks (“Does Anybody Really Know What Time It Is?”), and extended song suites (“Ballet For A Girl In Buchannon” and “It Better End Soon.”)

The band would begin recording Chicago V a few days after the Kennedy Center performance. Released in July 1972, the album marked a significant evolution in the band’s sound and would become Chicago’s first No. 1 album. To get ready for the studio, Loughnane says the band road-tested some new songs in D.C. “Case in point: we did ‘Saturday In The Park’ for the first time at the Kennedy Center show. You’ll notice that we hadn’t yet decided on who would sing the lead vocal. Also, Robert hadn’t written Part 2 of ‘Dialogue’ yet.”

Chicago is touring with Earth, Wind & Fire this summer on the Heart & Soul Tour. The band plays tonight in Camden, New Jersey, and will finish in Palm Desert, California, on September 7. Chicago will also be making stops in Japan and Hawaii this September. Tickets are on sale HERE.

Lollapalooza To Make History As First Major U.S. Festival To Power Main Stage Solely On A Hybrid Battery System

Lollapalooza is excited to announce that this year’s Main Stage, sponsored by T-Mobile, will be powered solely and completely on a hybrid battery system, including all audio, lighting, video and stage production. In partnership with Live Nation’s sustainability initiative Green Nation, T-Mobile and CES PowerLollapalooza will make history as the first major U.S. festival to achieve this, furthering its commitment to its ever-expanding sustainability efforts. The hybrid powered stage will deploy over 1.5 MWh of battery storage capacity, minimizing the run time of biodiesel generators providing significant fuel and emissions savings.

“We have set a goal to build a more sustainable future for music festivals, which requires taking bold steps to find solutions that can reinvent how we operate and in turn, build industry trust in new technology so that major live events can see a path towards becoming more energy efficient,” said Jake Perry, Director of Operations and Sustainability at C3 Presents. “Lollapalooza is a leader in sustainable solutions, and we are proud to have aligned ourselves with partners that have the same passion and experience to execute this mission.”

“Solutions like the ones Lollapalooza are pioneering not only contribute toward our global Green Nation goal of cutting our emissions in half by 2030, but they provide local benefits as well through reduced noise and air pollution which creates a better experience overall for the artists, fans and crew,” said Lucy August-Perna, Head of Global Sustainability at Live Nation. “We look forward to sharing the results and learnings from Lollapalooza with our network of over 200+ festivals around the world who are committed to raising the bar for more sustainable live events.”

Lollapalooza 2024 will also feature an activation from conservation organization Re:wild, who became an official global Lollapalooza partner earlier this year. The organization, which was founded by a group of renowned conservation scientists together with Leonardo DiCaprio, will speak directly with music fans to educate them on ways to rewild their daily lives and communities.  Re:wild encourages plant-based diets as animal agriculture is the biggest driver of biodiversity loss and ecosystem destruction. Simply put, they believe choosing more plant-based foods is the best thing an individual can do for the planet. While Lolla’s food hub Chow Town has always featured a selection of plant-based food options, the festival has expanded this offering by developing Plant Base, a stand-alone food court that will feature multiple vendors serving entirely plant-based food options.  To learn more about Re:wild and its partnership with Lollapalooza, please visit https://lolla.rewild.org/.

As an Illinois Sustainability Award recipient, Lollapalooza is committed to sustainable festival practices in the field, behind the scenes and through the preservation of the ever-beautiful Grant Park. This commitment is integrated into every area of the park, from recycling and composting to eco-friendly service items at Chow Town, as well as Hydration Stations that provide patrons free, filtered water, and the TURN reusable cup system which collectively help avoid millions of single-use plastic cups and bottles. Additionally, Lollapalooza uses biodiesel for all generators and equipment and funds renewable energy projects through carbon offset purchases.

Lollapalooza 2024 kicks off at Grant Park this Thursday featuring SZA, Tyler, The Creator, blink-182, The Killers, Future X Metro Boomin, Hozier, Stray Kids, Melanie Martinez and Skrillex and many more in the heart of downtown Chicago.  Limited tickets are available at www.lollapalooza.com.

Blxst has architected a new era of West Coast hip-hop and culture by hand, as not only a rapper, singer, songwriter, and producer, but also as a creative visionary who mixes, masters, and self-edits his own videos and artwork. Back in high school, the South Central native taught himself how to produce and record, going on to collaborate with YG, Mozzy, Snoop Dogg, Nas, and more. Following a string of buzzing singles in 2019, he forged an ironclad creative partnership with Bino Rideaux on their first critically acclaimed Sixtape. During 2020, he partnered with Red Bull Records and unleashed his solo debut EP, No Love Lost, to unanimous tastemaker praise. Upon release, it rose to #3 on the Billboard Heatseekers Albums Chart, #6 on the Rolling Stone Breakthrough 25 Chart, and #11 on the Trending 25 Chart, while the Gold-certified single “Overrated” soared to #15 at Urban radio. The deluxe edition of No Love Lost has yielded over 1.3 billion streams along with the Platinum-certified smash “Chosen” (feat. Ty Dolla $ign and Tyga), which garnered over 300 million streams in less than a year while breaking into the Billboard Hot 100 and reaching #1 at Rhythmic and Urban radio.

In 2021, Blxst dropped the Just For Clarity two-pack and Sixtape 2 with Bino Rideaux, and claimed a place in XXL’s coveted 2021 Freshman Class. He also earned the Billboard Rising Star Award, becoming the first artist to ever receive the honor at the 2021 Billboard R&B/Hip-Hop Summit. With excitement at a boiling point, he sold out his entire fall 2021 No Love Lost Tour in ten seconds.

Blxst kickstarted 2022 with the “Best New Artist of The Year” win from the XXL Awards, and the release of his sophomore solo project Before You Go which debuted at #90 on the Billboard 200. The album spawned Rhythm & Urban radio single “About You”, for which he was nominated for “Best Male R&B/Pop Artist” at the 2022 BET Awards, priming his sold-out first ever global tour across North America, Australia, New Zealand, and 11 dates through Europe. Whilst on the road, he nabbed the AIM Awards’ “International Breakthrough” honor, and returned home in the fall to accept the “Rookie of the Year” award from Future at Billboard’s R&B & Hip-Hop Power Players 2022. Following two sold-out hometown shows at the Hollywood Palladium, the LA Times declared, “Blxst is leading the new wave of L.A. hip-hop.”

In 2023, Blxst reached a new career high with his first two GRAMMY Award nominations for “Best Melodic Rap Performance” as a feature on Kendrick Lamar’s “Die Hard” with Amanda Reifer, and “Album of the Year” on Lamar’s revered LP, Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers. Posting up more than 2.8 billion career streams, he finished the year earning several “Best of 2022” titles from key opinion leaders such as Associated Press, Rolling Stone, LA Times, and more.

Paying homage to the city that raised him, Blxst delivered the Just For Clarity 2 EP, with four tracks featuring respected scene-shapers such as Roddy Ricch, Mustard, Terrace Martin, and Larry June. A bite-sized project with mass appeal, Blxst comes across confident yet self-aware, and he owes it all to LA. Rounding out the year, he released Sixtape 3, the highly-anticipated third installment from his fan-favorite series with Bino Rideaux. The duo brought their soulful melodies across the West Coast in a sold-out run that highlighted their meteoric rise to success.

Pegged as an “Artist to Watch” by Billboard, Complex, Pigeons & Planes, UPROXX, and more, Blxst continues to traffic in a lane of his own, bringing the game with him. Stay tuned for his debut album I’ll Always Come Find You out July 19 on Red Bull Records/EVGLE.

Myke Towers Announces North American ‘La Pantera Negra’ Tour

Following his tour in Spain with sellout dates including Madrid’s iconic Wizink Center, Myke Towers announces news that he will be returning to arena stages across the U.S. today on his “La Pantera Negra Tour.”

Produced by Live Nation, the 18-city tour kicks off in Fairfax, VA, on Wednesday, October 2 , at Eagle Bank Arena, and will make stops across the U.S. in Brooklyn, NY; Houston, TX; Miami, FL; Toronto, CA; and more before wrapping up in Inglewood (Los Angeles), CA, on Sunday, November 3. Additionally, Towers’ tour is hitting bigger venues so more fans can enjoy a newly produced and one-of-a-kind live experience. See full routing below.

TICKETS: General on-sale begins today, Friday, July 26th at 10 am local time at LiveNation.com.

Thus far, 2024 has been a total hit for Towers. His latest release “Adivino”, a power collaboration with Bad Bunny marked Myke’s highest debut on Spotify and other streaming platforms to date. The multi-platinum rapper was April’s Billboard Magazine cover story where he discussed his upcoming new album “La Pantera Negra,” the success of his viral hit “LALA,” and his fitness reboot. He also released “LA FALDA (Tiësto Remix).” The song’s original version marked his fourth US Latin radio number one and is 2x Platinum-certified by the RIAA. “LA FALDA” continues to charts with over 292 million Spotify streams which ranked #30 worldwide.

In May, Myke made his Major League Baseball (MLB) debut, starring alongside comedian and actor Marcello Hernández in the “El Béisbol es Otra Cosa” campaign that celebrates Latino culture in baseball.

Four-time Latin GRAMMY® Award-nominated rapper and singer, Myke Towers, has grown into one of Puerto Rico’s top lyricists, melding streetwise storytelling and massive pop hooks into a career filled with chart-topping anthems. Myke released his first project ‘El Final del Principio’ in 2016; an impressively mature record of autobiographical lyrics and boom-bap beats that invoked classic rap. Three years later, his efforts led him to collaborate with Farruko on the hit single “Si Se Da,” reuniting the following year for the viral remix of “La Playa,” which also featured a verse from Maluma.

In 2020 Towers released ‘Easy Money Baby’, an LP that expanded his sonic palette even further with blasts of reggaetón, dancehall, and baile funk on hits like “Diosa” and “Girl.” The album debuted at number #1 on the Top Latin Album chart and has garnered over a billion streams combined. That same year, collaborations with Bad Bunny, Nicky Jam, Camila Cabello, Becky G and Anitta cemented him as one of the leading names in mainstream reggaetón, though his heart yearned for a return to his rap roots. ‘LYKE MIKE’ arrived in 2021, loaded with introspective bars and throbbing trap and drill beats. Cuts like “Mírenme Ahora” and “Pin Pin” showcased Towers at the top of his songwriting game, remaining true to his artistic vision and complex narratives without relying on catchy pop choruses.

On March 23, 2023 Myke released his long anticipated fourth studio album, ‘LA VIDA ES UNA’. This 23-track project finds the singer-songwriter reintroducing himself in a new era, taking his listeners on a sonic journey through globalized music that includes Alt-pop, afrobeat, and reggae.

The album includes the hit singles “MI DROGA”, which Myke performed at the 2023 Latin American Music Awards, and “ULALA” ft. Daddy Yankee, which hit #1 on the Latin Airplay chart and which Myke performed on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and Good Morning America. To date, LA VIDA ES UNA has amassed over 200 million all time streams on Spotify alone.

In 2024, Towers received four nominations at the 2024 Latin American Music Awards, including Song of the Year, Global Latin Song of the Year, Best Song – Urban, and Best Collaboration Urban for “LALA” and “Borracho y Loco” with Yandel. In April of this year, Towers released “LA FALDA (Tiësto Remix).” The song’s original version marked his fourth US Latin radio number one and is 2x Platinum-certified by the RIAA. “LA FALDA” continues to charts with over 292 million Spotify streams which ranked #30 worldwide. Towers also released his first single off his upcoming album with Bad Bunny where they joined forces for “ADIVINO,” a powerful collaboration that promises to captivate the charts worldwide.

In addition to housing hits “You Better Run” and “Treat Me Right,” it included the signature smash “Hit Me With Your Best Shot,” which went Top 10 in the United States. The album marked their first GRAMMY® Award win for “Best Rock Vocal Performance, Female.

1981’s Precious Time bowed at #1 on the Billboard 200 and touted “Promises In The Dark” and “Fire And Ice,” notching their second straight GRAMMY® Award in the category of “Best Rock Vocal Performance, Female.” The record also went 2x-Platinum.

To date, Pat Benatar and Neil Giraldo have sold over 30 million records worldwide and garnered four consecutive GRAMMY Awards.

Pat Benatar and Neil Giraldo are on tour this summer, too.  For dates and more information, click HERE.

Fleetwood Mac To Release 22-Track Concert With Six Unreleased Songs from 1982 Forum Shows

Live recordings from Fleetwood Mac’s two sold-out shows at The Forum in 1982 during the Mirage Tour will be featured in a new collection from Rhino.

Mirage Tour ‘82 will be available on September 20 in 3LP, 2CD, and digital configurations. Pre-order HERE. On the same day, a special crystal-clear vinyl edition will be available exclusively at Amazon.

This 22-track live collection features six previously unreleased recordings from the October 21, 1982 show, including favorites like “Landslide,” “Don’t Stop,” and “Never Going Back Again.” The other songs were recorded at the October 22 show and have appeared on various releases through the years, including Live Super Deluxe Edition (2021), Mirage Super Deluxe Edition (2016) and the 1983 concert video Mirage Live.

In September 1982, Fleetwood Mac embarked on a 31-city U.S. tour in support of Mirage, the band’s fourth consecutive multi-platinum album and third No. 1 in America. Both shows at The Forum were recorded, and Mirage Tour ‘82 combines songs from both into a single concert experience.

Mick Fleetwood, John McVie, Christine McVie, Lindsey Buckingham, and Stevie Nicks were at the height of their collective power at these shows, delivering a hyper-charged setlist filled with hits new and old. Standouts include “Songbird,” “Oh Well,” “Love In Store,” “Go Your Own Way,” and a version of “Landside” for the ages.

In the set’s liner notes, music journalist and songwriter Bill DeMain calls the collection “a riveting listen” and a reminder of a time when rock shows “were platforms to expand and reinvent songs for the stage, to let them breathe, to unleash different, wilder sides of a band.”
